Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, where I earned a bachelor's degree in art and then raised and homeschooled four children, I currently live in Wapiti, Wyoming, on the North Fork of the Shoshone River with the man of my dreams.
My passion for wildlife has taken me to many remote locations reaching all seven continents. As an accomplished photographer, I have photographed wildlife intimately. For me, nothing is more exhilarating than getting up-close and-personal with wild critters and capturing their personalities in the moment.
As an extension of my photographic success, I am now working hard in my newly built, Wyoming, art studio, creating a repertoire of artwork that celebrates nature. I utilize multiple mediums to express my passion: oil paints, crystal glass, clay, and bronze. Keep a lookout for my soon-to-be-released wildlife glass sculptures and paintings. My goal is to create a series of stunning artwork that prompts the viewer to appreciate and preserve our wild places--to remember the wild even when surrounded by the city.
If you can't find me in my riverside art studio, you'll definitely find me outdoors either photographing, skiing, hiking, or sailing.
My wildlife photographic collection is currently on display at Open Range Galleries in downtown Cody, Wyoming.
